INTSPEI Releases the Beta Version of INTSPEI P-Modeling Framework

The International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (INTSPEI) released today the beta version of its P-Modeling Framework - a powerful methodology add-on that helps development teams eliminate the defects earlier, which in turn shortens development lifecycle and improves the quality of the final product.

With P-Modeling, many defects are identified (and can be fixed) virtually immediately after their insertion, rather then staying hidden until the later stages of the development lifecycle, when the cost of fixing them grows tremendously. As an additional benefit, the bugs fixed earlier do not produce new defects, therefore decreasing the overall amount of defects.

This is achieved using Reverse Semantic Traceability - a quality control method that can be applied to all kinds of project artifacts. Unlike existing quality control techniques, it allows decisions made on the early stages of development to be evaluated long before actual code is created.

INTSPEI P-Modeling Framework is designed to integrate easily with existing methodologies. Its innovative quality control techniques work together with already used methods, simplifying adoption of this framework in development teams using various methodologies.

The beta version of INTSPEI P-Modeling Framework is available for download at http://www.intspei.com. The current beta version includes support for Microsoft Solutions Framework for Agile Software Development. The final version of the product, planned for release in October, will also support Microsoft Solutions Framework for CMMI Process Improvement, as well as Rational Unified Process.
