Computer science professors, graduate students and researchers from CEE countries gather to discuss future plans in software development at the Microsoft Academic Days conference, which is held in Yalta, Ukraine, on October 17-19. International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (INTSPEI) is partnering with Microsoft in sponsorship of their upcoming conference. INTSPEI Chairman and Chief Strategic Officer Vladimir L. Pavlov will make a presentation about Application Lifecycle Management Solutions and hold a round table about ACM/IEEE Computer Curricula guidelines.

Academic Days is a series of scientific and technical conferences conducted by Microsoft worldwide on a regular basis. The idea of these conferences is to support development of computer science education and organize presentations of recent research and Microsoft products for the education sector. A special attention is paid to teaching approaches of the disciplines related to Microsoft products.

About 150 participants are going to attend the conference this year. This conference gives attendees a chance to learn more about the various aspects of Microsoft technologies, innovations and plans for future development. The conference also affords a great opportunity to meet lectors, professors, Microsoft experts and other participants, as well as establishing relationships between universities from Ukraine, Russia and other countries.
