This Time-to-Release Calculator shows you the effect of quality control efforts related to the importance of the decisions being made during different stages of SDLC. It is based on statistically proven Rayleigh model and demonstrates a potential way of reducing development time. This model is used by the industry experts to describe bug insertion and fixing distributions. It mathematically demonstrates what could be the effect of reducing delay between two peaks: bug insertion and bug fix.

The proposed model can be applied to any independently managed project which does not include large set of uncertainty and follows standard development lifecycle. You can apply it to your specific project by entering there simple estimated data for your project:

	Estimated project length (without INTSPEI P-Modeling framework)
	Expected number of bugs
	Quality bar (percentage of all bugs which you think will be fixed before release)
